Evan Parliament brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the CAMA Board. Serving as the City Manager of Revelstoke since August 2022, he has been a stalwart in local government since 1986. With a career that has taken him through various communities, including Bentley, Summerland, Sooke, and Sicamous, his journey is marked by a profound commitment to advancing municipal excellence.

Passionate about sharing best practices with new and aspiring Chief Administrative Officers (CAOs) across Canada, his interests are deeply rooted in economic development and fostering community legacy projects for small municipalities. His extensive experience in holding dual roles as CAO and Economic Development Officer underscores his belief in the power of partnerships. He champions innovative approaches to attract investment and tourism dollars, recognizing the limitations of conventional funding streams.

In Revelstoke, Evan’s current priorities reflect his forward-thinking leadership. From spearheading initiatives to achieve carbon neutrality through Bio-Heat technologies to overseeing the expansion of CYRV (airport) to meet tourism demands, his vision aligns with the community’s aspirations for growth and sustainability.
