We are pleased to announce that CAMA’s 52nd Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting will be held in beautiful Whistler, British Columbia, from Monday, May 25 to Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the Whistler Convention Centre. 

To assist with travel planning, delegates are encouraged to visit the official 2026 CAMA Conference Tourism Whistler delegate website.  This site serves as a one-stop resource for transportation and shuttle options, maps, activities, and helpful information to support your stay in Whistler during the Conference.

CAMA's two host hotels for the event are the Westin Whistler Resort and the Hilton Whistler Resort.  The Conference will kick off on Monday morning with a Golf Tournament and other pre-conference activities. The official program will conclude on Wednesday evening with the President’s Dinner.  Delegates typically arrive on Sunday and depart on Thursday.

Please note that the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) Conference will take place the week following CAMA, from June 4-7, 2026 in Edmonton, Alberta.

Delegate Program Registration Fees

Register for the Conference by April 1st, 2026 and you will receive the Early Bird Rate.  All CAMA members must enter their e-mail address to receive the member rate.  

Please note that regular CAMA members who are attending their first CAMA Conference are eligible for a $150.00 discount off the registration fee.  If you would like some of your senior managers to attend the Conference and they are not CAMA members they can sign up for $160.00 (50% off the first year) and also attend the Conference for $620.00 as a First Time Delegate.

"Municipal" refers to an individual who is currently employed with a municipal government organization.  **"Non-Municipal" refers to all other individuals.

The registration fee for members, municipal interns, non-members, affiliate members, and business partners includes all Conference sessions, tradeshow, opening reception, breakfasts, refreshment breaks, lunches, Casual Night Out, the President's Dinner and the hospitality suite.  Additional tickets to the Casual Night Out ($120.00) and the President's Dinner ($130.00 can be purchased for companions not participating in the full Companion Program.

Additional fees will be charged for the Pre-Conference activities on Monday and for the Study Tours and the Workshop on Wednesday afternoon.

The registration fee for retired/honourary members includes all Conference sessions, tradeshow, opening reception, breakfasts, refreshment breaks, Casual Night and the hospitality suite.  At an additional cost, tickets can be purchased to the lunches, the President's Dinner and the Monday and Wednesday additional activities.

 

Companion Program Registration Fee

The Companion Program includes the Opening Reception, Opening and Closing Keynote Speakers, Casual Night Out, President's Dinner, and the Hospitality Suite.  The Companion Program does not include breakfasts or lunches with the delegates.

ACCOMMODATIONS - HOST HOTELS  

Special Conference rates have been negotiated at two host hotels, the Westin Whistler Resort & Spa and the Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa, are both located in the heart of Whistler Village, just steps away from the Convention Centre. The Hilton is slightly closer, but both properties are within a two-minute walk, making them equally convenient for your stay.

All room rates are based on single or double occupancy and are subject to 5% GST, 8% PST and 3% Municipal and Regional District Tax (total 16%).  Each additional person over 18 years of age:  $30.00 per person, per night.   Please Note:  Both room types offer either one King bed or one Queen bed with a Queen pull-out sofa.  Specific bed configurations are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed by the hotel.

Extended Stays

If you require accommodations outside of the conference dates (May 24–27) and those nights are not showing as available online, first book the conference dates that are available to secure your room. Then contact the Reservations line directly (1-833-549-1909) to request adjustments to your arrival or departure dates (subject to availability).

Pre- and Post-Conference Rates

• CAMA has secured the group rate or arrivals beginning Sunday, May 24th and departures up to Thursday, May 28th, 2025. 
• A limited number of Deluxe Studio Suites (not One-Bedroom Suites) will also be available on Saturday, May 23rd. If May 23rd shows unavailable, book starting Sunday, May 24th to secure your room, then adjust by calling the hotel.

 April 21, 2026 (or until sold out).

Hotel Deposit and Cancellation Policy  

• At the time of booking, the Westin will charge a non-refundable deposit equal to one night’s stay.   
• Full prepayment for your entire stay will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
• Cancellations/changes: Additional nights (excluding the first night) may be cancelled without penalty up to 30 days before arrival. After that, the reservation becomes non-refundable and non-changeable.
• Within 30 days of arrival, any cancellations, early departures, or reductions in nights will be charged in full, including taxes.

Parking

• Covered self-parking is CAD $34/night (in/out privileges).
• Valet parking is available for CAD $38/night.
• Height limit: 6 ft 10 in—check if your vehicle meets this requirement.
• EV charging is available onsite, pending availability.

Pre- and Post-Conference Rates

• The online group block covers Saturday, May 23 to Thursday, May 28.
• If you need dates up to three nights before or after these dates, first book your in-block nights online.
• Then email Martina Gejdosova (Mgejdosova@hiltonwhistler.com) with your confirmation number and the extra dates you want.
• Pre/post nights can’t be booked online and are subject to availability at the group rate.

Hotel Deposit and Cancellation Policy  

• At the time of booking, the Hilton will charge a non-refundable deposit equal to one night’s stay.  This will not be refunded under any circumstances.
• 21 days prior to arrival, full prepayment for your entire stay will be charged.
• Cancellations/changes: Any nights beyond the first can be cancelled without penalty up to 21 days prior to arrival.  After that, the reservation is fully non-refundable and non-changeable.
• Within 21 days of arrival, no cancellations, early departures, or reductions in nights are permitted.  The full stay, including taxes, will be charged.

Parking

• Secured underground self-parking is CAD $37/night + tax (in/out privileges).
• Valet parking is available for CAD $41/night + tax (in/out privileges).
• EV Charging:  Available on-site.
• Both covered and secured parking are offered.

Getting to Whistler for the 2026 CAMA Annual Conference is easy and scenic. Most delegates will fly into Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and then travel north along the spectacular Sea-to-Sky Highway, a journey of approximately two hours through coastal mountains and ocean views.

Shuttle Transportation Options
