Ongoing evaluation or monitoring of the program identifies improvements needed immediately in your process, courses, and procedures. This monitoring keeps the program on track by making adjustments to meet goals and expectations. The final evaluation details strengths and weaknesses of the entire program, measures success and results, and recommends improvements for future programming.
A collaborative evaluation process is a joint effort involving as many partner groups as possible related to the workplace learning program: managers and supervisors, union representatives, funding organizations, instructors, learners, co-workers, and community representatives if applicable. After deciding what information these stakeholders want to know about the program, the committee collects and analyzes that information to determine success and results.
